Give thanks in all circumstances

http://bible.com/111/1th5.16-18 Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

What a verse. Right now, this has become one of my life verses.
Circumstances happen whether internally or externally cause they will happen. The question is how will we respond to them.
I can honestly say that is not always easy to.rejoice in them. I have learned that whatever the circumstances the best way to get through it is to pray.

Confession

http://bible.com/111/1jn1.9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

This yesterday and today has been interesting in the passages of scripture.
To today. If we confess. Now in those three words. Confess is us doing. Then then the rest is the Lord forgiving.
We the unrighteous have a harder time forgiving. I am not sure why that is. In the new testament is says that we need to imitate Christ then we should be able to forgive when someone repentant and asks forgiveness.
I understand in away because in Eph 6 it states that we are in a battle not of flesh and blood but of the spirit. To forgive is to change us/me and the forgiven to change. Just thinking this is where freedom happens and relationships are restored.

Set me free

http://bible.com/111/rom8.2 because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.

Have you thought why in the world that sin continues to knock at our life's door because we never give it all to him. Give it to him and experience really freedom

He loved us first

Wow. When you take this verse into consideration that he loves so much that he gave his son for us. He has forgiven us. He loves US. And has mercy on us.

Present suffering

http://bible.com/111/rom8.18 I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.

Consider or think about what you are going through cannot even compare to the glory of God.

Look at what your going through right now Can compare to the Glory.

For the spirit of God

Confession I am timid. But as I continue to grow in the Lord. I know as I submit to the Lord he gives me power,  love and self-discipline

You know when you have done wrong and confronted with it. 2 things a person can do fight or flee. I know when in me I want to do both because I am human but as spirit filled person I walk in the power that He ha for me. The self discipline that I need to have.
The biggest question how am I going to put into action and make definite change.

The change happens has the Lord works in you ans through you.

Whatever

Whatever is word we hear quite often whenever you speak to someone but they don't agree. The response is whatever.
This passage is really an action of.an attitude. Whatever is. .. bring about something.  This passage ends with think about such thinks.

Proclaim

Just last night I watched "God Not Dead" the movie. As this young man debated the professor in his philosophy class. Proclaim really speaks to let everyone know how good God is!
